THE REALISTIC JONESES (2011) I was honored when Yale Rep asked me to design all the artwork for their 2011-12 season. It was an exciting line-up of classic plays and new. I was working on their subscription brochure deadline, which meant the posters were needed pretty much a year in advance of the productions. Due to this time line, only the first act of The Realistic Joneses was available for me to read. Before diving into the project, I had a conversation with the artistic director to put me on the right track. The approved poster hints at the story, or as much as one needs to know, given the complex nature of the play itself.
